You are invited to participate in lab exercises designed to help motivate and illustrate concepts from the class. Some of the information may be used as part of a research study. The purpose of this study is to help us better understand decision-making by observing your choices. Information that could identify you will remain confidential. Participation in this study is restricted to those individuals over 18 years of age. By filling in the following form, you are certifying that you are at least 18 years old, you are agreeing to share your demographic information, and to participate in this study. YOUR PARTICIPATION IS VOLUNTARY. IF YOU ARE UNDER 18 OR IF YOU DECIDE TO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE STUDY, YOU WILL STILL BE ABLE TO TAKE THE CLASS AND DO THE LAB EXERCISES. Your decision whether or not to participate will not affect your relationship with Stanford University the University of British Columbia or any other organization. Participants do not waive any legal rights through their participation. If you decide to participate, you are free to withdraw your consent and discontinue participation at any time without penalty.
